A Public Apology.
Dear FreeiPod.co.uk user,
This is an important announcement that may concern you if you registered to the site in February and early March.
You may be aware that this week we have had a large amount of downtime which has prevented users from accessing our service, unfortunately this has had implications for some of our users.
The reason for the downtime is that the company who hosts our website has gone bankrupt, causing our website to be deleted without warning. Unfortunately they were also hosting some of our backups for the site, which were also deleted. We have been working night and day to get the site back online as it was, and things should just about be back to normal.
However, users who registered between February and early March will have had their accounts deleted. We cannot apologise enough for this, but we can assure all users that there will not be a repeat of this as we have taken steps to prevent a reoccurence. We have a record of all users who completed offers during this period, but unfortunately cannot restore back these accounts. We have tried absolutely everything possible to restore these accounts but the hosting company has lost them and unfortunately there is nothing we can do.
If you have already completed an offer please can you re-register, open a support ticket giving us your old user ID and we will credit your account ASAP. If you think you may have been affected in some other way by this loss of data, please open a support ticket and we will be on hand to help.
We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter and hope that it wont put you off using our service.
